Before you go to your next job interview, ask yourself four questions.
What kind of job do I want to get?
What does the company I am interviewing need?
What knowledge, skills, technologies are needed to do this job?
What conditions does the company offer? Do they suit me?
Ask questions
What tasks will face me? Decision Making Level? Which team?
Why did the job open? What is the history of its replacement?
What are the criteria for evaluating the results of work?
Hint: after the interview, ask yourself the question: “Are I interested in this company and its offer? Do I understand everything? ”

Success and failure at work depend not only on the person himself. The results are influenced by many factors: from the available technical means to the criteria for evaluating labor in a particular organization. There are frequent cases when a successful professional was lured from one company to another, but he failed to repeat success in a new place. To avoid such situations, employers examine a person’s behavior in the previous place - and assess whether a person can become successful in their company.

I wouldn’t say the lack of questions is fear as much as it is miseducation. Job interviews have been posed as a way to see if the interviewee is the right person. I’ve rarely heard of interviewees w the mindset of, “Will this job fit my needs” aside from flexibility w time & pay.
